What is our mission?

Our main purpose is to serve all the underprivileged citizens of our nation. We aim to help the young generation to pave their path to a bright future, while on the other hand, we try to improve the living conditions of the elderly. We aim to bring a smile on as many faces as we can. We strive to be a helping hand to our community with our kindness and service.

What is the history of LEO Club?

LEO Clubs are those organizations which are made of the youth of Lions Clubs International. They are very well known all across the world. The first LEO Club was formed in Pennsylvania, USA. The LEO Clubs have grown and developed into a strong dynamic force. Thus, here we are over 50 years later, helping the society as part of VIT LEO Club, in a small city in Tamil Nadu. There are around 7,200 LEO Clubs with over 130,000 members in more than 150 Countries. The success of LEO Clubs is a crucial part of the success of Lions Clubs International.

Events

VIT LEO CLUB is a non-profit organisation to help serve our society. Here are some of our events that show what we do.

GULLY CRICKET

VIT LEO CLUB organised "GULLY CRICKET" tournament on International Women's day for women empowerment.

MOTIVATION TO CHILDREN

VIT LEO CLUB visited an orphanage "HOME OF HOPE" on 1st of February to celebrate smiles on little kids.

RIVIERA STALLS

VIT LEO CLUB , set up a games and merchandise stalls for RIVIERA as an effort to raise sponsorship.

VISIT TO DON BOSCO

LEO CLUB flagship event with IEEE TEMS VIT , we visted Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School and organised painting competition with energy and water conservation education.

CHILD CLINIC

This event is organised by the members of VIT LEO CLUB where cancer child patients are taken care of.

DIABETES CAMP

VIT LEO CLUB has taken an initiative to improve the health standards through diabetes camp from Brahmapuram village.

HUNGER DRIVE

LEO CLUB organised a food drive to serve the needy in Vellore.

SMILE

VIT LEO CLUB organised "Smile" in Anbu Illam , to spend our time with the children and spread smile.

DIABETES CAMP

Camp organised for 500 people.

TOGETHER WE DEVELOP

VIT LEO CLUB effort to uplift the standard of education for students of DON BOSCO.

ROAD SAFETY EVENT

VIT LEO CLUB conducted road safety event in DON BOSCO School in collaboration with traffic police of Vellore.

BLANKET DISTRIBUTION

VIT LEO CLUB went out to distribute blankets to some of those shivering people living the streets of Vellore.
